TBF the City of Hull should have 40,000 through the gates for the world cup, now that is VERY good

of course, I wasn't mocking our City's effort, just pointing out that the team at Bristol have done a very good job marketing an unattractive fixture in a city where to many RL doesn't exist!

there has definitely been green shoots of recovery for the game in this world cup, from the biggest crowd in Cumbria for 23 years, to the high number of new fans buying tickets for Cardiff & Wembley, I hope the game can convert some of these people in to regular fans.

Another entertaining game , Have we ever had such a good start to a World cup .

I think they've scheduled the opening fixtures really well with the likely closest run games being played first. Really enjoyed them all so far.
Can see a few big scores being posted in round 2 tho'.
