| The problem I see is that fans think we're going to win sl straight away JM is a quality player who will only get better as will our young team, lets not forget he is 20 years old in a strange country ffs give the lad time to settle in. If not lets just panic buy like our poor relations are doing so they can justify there new stand and try to fill it. One other thing how many kr academy lads signing for us at the mo, quite a few of their top prospects.

| In League Weekly this Morning Dave Parker says that Miller is 'Distraught' at the departure of Gentle and could be off to Cronulla Sharks who he says have made him an offer. He also says that McDonnell is not that far behind him. I don't trust Parker because he does seem to run with rumours sometimes although in his defence he did say around 2 months ago that Lovegrove was being released by Rovers.

| Quote Kosh="Kosh"Quote Kosh="easthull fc fan"he is not good enough for what we need imho he will be spotted in defence just like hudds did to him, im sorry but he will cost us more tries then he creates, then next season when were all sat at KC slatting him or radders & co for not trying to fetch another decent play maker in when we had the chance, it will be to late. people keep saying hes a tryer or hes got potential thats a load of tosh, if your good enough your old enough. my opinion.'"
Deary me.
And what 'chance' is it that we have to bring in a 'decent playmaker' by the way?'"
Didn't you know Kosh there is a surplus of these on the market now...........
Miller was dropped in at the deep end for us and to be honest did better than i really expected considering he's only 20, left his family to live in a country at the other side of the world this on top of joining a team that had performance issues, let alone not having any real time to settle into the team with a pre season!!!
For me Jacob Miller showed more than enough in the games he played in to suggest he is capable of being the player we have lacked for years. In fact if we had players who were not lazy and actually ran decent lines and supported him we might had done a little better at times. Also you can not fault his defence, he may have missed a few tackles here and there at times but they werent the reason we lost etc. As for him trying yes he was and at times maybe a little too much but at least HE WAS unless some of the more experienced members of the squad.
In Millers case I would say he was let down by a few players in their efforts and desire and also by his HB partner who was the more experienced but failed to show up in the latter part of the season.
Give the lad a break

I would go along with that. You can see the effort from Miller, sadly a lot of his teammates are on a different wavelength at times. The same can be said for Azza who sometimes looks like a headless chicken because the players around him don't seem to be able to follow what he is doing.
Sadly I think these rumours have legs and we could well be resigned to seeing him go before he has had a chance to show us what he is capable of.

| Hoping Parker is wrong but if Miller doesn't want to play for Hull then he should go. Was looking forward to seeing him play after a full pre season of preparation but looking less likely at the minute.

She said that few days ago.. Can't see him going tbh even though Gentle has gone. As people have said, where will he go?? He's got a starting spot with us so can't see why he'd go back for reserve grade rugby.

| I did post it on another thread a few days ago . Did hear he wasn't happy about gentle and that he may have something in his contract regarding gentle . I still think he won't be here next season , don't think radford rates him that highly anyway . Apparently McDonnell as been told he's free to leave as well as he won't be first choice next season .
