Quote: ComeOnYouUll "My age is none of your business. I'm not a friend of Paul Cooke's although I'm an aquaintance of a close family member.
I was very unhappy at the time when he left Hull and there is no doubt he made some bad mistakes in his life, however he has turned things around personally and professionally. It wasn't his fault that the club failed to adequately replace him.
He's doing fine at Doncaster and I believe that he can do a good job in coaching our youngsters that train and play there. If you are prepared to walk away from the club because of any link to Paul Cooke then that's your prerogative but it'd be ironic given your criticism of Cooke.'"
Im not interested in your age, i was just thinking you may not be old enough to remember what
this man did to us , it was a vile thing to do to a club that had been very good to him when he first
started, and as i have said onhere a few times, imo, he was not that good.Dont blame the club for
not being able to replace him adequately, they have not had much luck in replacing a few of the
good players we have lost, never mind cooke. I believe, "metaphorically" speaking that the man
robbed us, the club that brought him through, then did the dirty by going to the dobbins, taking the
for a bit, gladly he failed there as he did at Wakefield, he now at Doncaster, and you think that means
he will be a good coach for our youngsters, i know, a lot of our fans do not want him anywhere near us.
