| I think Hull will defend them out of the game. Provide a shoddy attack, and win a close game by no more than 8. One thing they can take into the game is they know how to win knockout rugby. It was just a great shame they couldn't produce on the biggest of stages. Surely they can use that as motivation...

| Quote Chris28="Chris28"I know we can play well, but getting all hyped up for a game then watching us do what we've done too often this year will just spoil the evening (again), so I'll go with my usual resigned air and hopefully come away from the KC feeling happier than when I went in'"
Wise words indeed.

| Quote Raggytash="Raggytash"I'm anything but one of the rabid, delusional optimists on here - but to give up on the team now would be ridiculous. It's potentially our last home game of the season and we're in the play-offs. We have a squad that potentially, with the right game plan and motivation, can beat any team in the competition. If we win tonight, we also get a little momentum going again!
We're going to have a long wait for the next season to begin - let's use that time to whinge about this seasons shortcomings eh?'"
Our season was "done" as soon as we got to Wembley. You can see it in the players and you can see it in every performance since, we're nowhere near good enough to trouble the play-offs (especially with O'Meley etc. missing) and the sooner we go out, the less chance that there is of us getting a good spanking somewhere live on Sky.
I'm just so relieved that it's not the dobbins at the KC tonight because that would have well and truly topped off our season.

| People are getting a bit carried away saying were likely to be at Huddersfield next week. Firstly we won't be going anywhere if we lose tonight, and secondly if rovers turn saints over (for the 4th time this year) then (in the event we won) we'd be away to the losers of wire/Leeds which would be goodbye season.

If we'd got Rovers at home it would be loads of extra cash in the bank, as it will be if we manage to beat Cats and get an extra game. That combined with the money we got just for getting to Wembley - means it's been at successful season financially at the very least!

| To me every game is an opportunity. Alright we haven't taken as many of those opportunities as we would have liked but we're such an unpredictable lot who's to say tonight won't be our night.
This is about producing a one off performance and we know they are capable of doing just that.
I'll be there (with fingers crossed), hoping that there'll be another game for us next week.

We have beaten both those teams this season you know. One of them twice. The second time in a sudden death game.
While we'd definitely be odds on to lose given current form, to state that it would be 'goodbye season' is a tad pessimistic.

The playoffs are a totally different animal though. It'd be quite naive to suggest that a semi-final eliminator at headingley or the HJ could be comparable to a league game. Although your right, we did beat wire in a sudden death game -it was at a neutral ground though. Maybe I am being slightly pessimistic about our chances of progressing further than week 1 but I think the same can be said for 80% of our fan base. Like I alluded too though, unless we win tonight, every other scenario is pretty irrelevant.
