I'm a new writer on here but read regularly. It's sad to see this mighty club falling. For me one the biggest things missing this season is passion. With the players as well as the coach.
Hull is a unique city in that we have two clubs vying for players, fans, sponsors etc. And it's the passion that needs to be instilled in players to get them going. For me I don't see how Gentle can tap into that when he hasn't lived and breathed it. And so many before him failed too.
Techno is right. Justin Morgan would do a fantastic job for the black and whites. He did great things for the red and whites and as we were always hearing it was on a shoe string. He understands Hull and he certainly has the passion that's missing now. Just look how he got the red and whites up for the derbies. Pearson needs to get him back before an Aussue club takes him as there are plenty of jobs floating around the NRL. Fans question on this forum what big name would come here to coach well in these parts Morgan is a big name and half the battle of moving to Hull is won with him as his wife and kids are still here. She's started a business here in player welfare.
Morgan has an affinity with Hull - and unfinished business. I really hope all the whispers about him coming back get louder and louder.
