| Feel a bit sorry for Bowden, thought he did well when he played mid season, not sure how old he is but I know he's young and got time to develop. Brought Johnson in as the prop to replace Moa, and while I love his determination, he ain't a patch on what Sam was. Think we defo need a big meathead to drive up the middle as Lynch is passed his best, and we need a quality second rower to replace Tickle. As stated Yeamo is getting on, although his hit on Hansen in the final was the highlight of my day.
I must say I really am impressed with the youngsters we are bringing through, and those we have brought in, it makes it difficult to determine who you bring in, do you stick with some of these youngsters, like Green and Bowden or do you bring in experience which could leave them out of the 19 like it has Bowden most of this year.

All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason.

[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Fans always have varying views, so when there's such a large consensus that most of us (both on here and people I talk to) seem to agree on us needing a big, nasty prop it's a bit worrying that the club don't seem to see it, IMO. I think it's as clear as day that it's the thinnest area in the squad (at least of sufficient quality/experience). By contrast we already have 3 each of wingers and centres vying for 4 spots.'"
I'd have thought the same, unless we have faith in Wilson-Tyson and Wilson to be back up to the main 5 props.

| Paul McNicholas has been asking player managers and contacts in Australia about which young halfbacks are off contract, he was given 3 names - all of them pretty average lower graders plus the Bulldogs reserve hooker Joel Romelo.
I think Hull should be enquiring about Sam Powell from Wigan, great young player who steered England Knights to a big win over Samoa on the weekend but will probably be behind Matty Smith next season. He needs to be playing SL.

Wigan would possibly let him out on loan for a few weeks or month but if hes next in behind Smith cant see them doing it long term and that wouldnt really help us think we need someone for atleast 2-3 years till young willo is ready to be regular. imo
