What a shocking advert for rugby league.

1985, greatest final, 2013, worst final. Thing is I just feel indifferent. When you can't complete a set you don't deserve to win. We defended well against Wigan, shame Shaul lost the ball when tackled by Charnley.

No. The Wigan-London semi was a shocking advert. This was a tight defensive game where the weather came out on top. Both teams tackled their hearts out .

The ball was clearly knocked out of Shaul's hand by Charnley and should have been a knock on, with ball back to Hull. I'm not sure how Shaul could have stopped the ball from being released when Charnley thumped it good and hard!

Attacking play was shocking

Hull never really had a foothold in the game.

They had a set on wigans line in the first minute, poor finish, penalty, wigan go into the hull half then have 4 or 5 back to back sets before hull see the ball again.

That set the tone for the game. From then on, hull invariably knocked on between tackle 2 and 4, and when they did complete they gave wigan a penalty which piggy packed them up the field again. It felt like hull were constasntly defending in their own half.

I don't mean to be rude, but certainly in the CC finals ive witnessed, that is the worst performance i've ever seen.

Wigan won a major final, by 16 points, and they weren't anything more than solid, and scrappy in places. A performance like that would normally have resulted in a defeat, but instead they coasted to a comfortable win with their line barely threatened.

I'm not a hull fan but even I was extremley frustrated, so i can't imagine how the hull fans felt. I could feel the collective groans from every knock on right through my body.
