I normally go down with about 20 Wigan lads every year and we always head to the Globe, think it's on Baker Street, there's also a cracking Wetherspoons across the road from it too. Always loads of fans in there, us Wiganers like a bit of banter and a sing song and talking with other fans so feel free to join us!

May head there for some brekkie early (if it opens early for brekkie??) and pop to the Green Man later to stand in a massive queue for the bar for 2 hours

Can anyone recommend family friendly pubs/areas please? Got my young lad with me for the first time.

Been in that wetherspoons a few times on cc final day its practically in baker st station must have been 500 in there at about 9 am great atmosphere

An Irish pub called Mannions, corner of Chatsworth Avenue... Our bus stops right outside there and its 5 mins walk to stadium

Does anybody know of any pubs that might be full of Hull fans on the Friday night?

I've been to green man before every final since 2008 and it's a great atmosphere. You sometimes see players mingling with fans in there too, I remember seeing Calderwood having a beer and getting banter from Leeds and Wigan fans in 2011. The only issue I've found is that you approach the ground from completely the opposite direction to Wembley way? Hasn't been much of a problem when I've been going to the final as a neutral but this time I want to savour the sea of black and white down there!!

Stayed at the Green man in 1992. I took the wife to a Rush gig at the arena and it cost me £72 to stay. That was her only Rush gig as she obviously lacks any musical taste as she wasn't keen whereas mine is 1st class and took my son to his 2nd and my 40thish this year. Anyway, great boozer and hopefully an omen for another great experience prior to seeing the other love of my life, the mighty FC. COYH. Int Whiting a legend? How great is shaul. Wow
