| Quote: Gerrum on side ref "Depends whether you're after atmosphere as well (as in singing and banter with fellow RL fans), can't speak for the Torch as not been in there but The Green Man has massive outdoor beer garden, we've never found it that bad getting served (albeit usually have a 3 pronged attack to get served at the inside bar) but if the weather is fair then they usually have an outdoor bar running as well, get a double round in sorted! Personally 2-3 pints will do me pre-match as want to enjoy / remember the game. the heavy session win or lose will come afterwards
Early weather forecast seems to be good. It is going to cool down initially, but it's supposed to warm up later next week. Depending on which forecast you look at its going to be between 22-27 degrees. Would be nice to get the shorts on

Quote: lummy "There's a big Wetherspoons right on the corner of Baker Street, it's huge but it's possible to miss cos it's just set back off main road, next door to the tube station. Ideal location but not sure there is a beer garden. A number of other decent pubs within a minute or two too.'"
Hope the forecast stays as suggested here 25c / 77f. If it does I'll be looking for a beer garden!

| Does anybody know of any pubs that might be full of Hull fans on the Friday night?

| I've been to green man before every final since 2008 and it's a great atmosphere. You sometimes see players mingling with fans in there too, I remember seeing Calderwood having a beer and getting banter from Leeds and Wigan fans in 2011. The only issue I've found is that you approach the ground from completely the opposite direction to Wembley way? Hasn't been much of a problem when I've been going to the final as a neutral but this time I want to savour the sea of black and white down there!!

| Stayed at the Green man in 1992. I took the wife to a Rush gig at the arena and it cost me £72 to stay. That was her only Rush gig as she obviously lacks any musical taste as she wasn't keen whereas mine is 1st class and took my son to his 2nd and my 40thish this year. Anyway, great boozer and hopefully an omen for another great experience prior to seeing the other love of my life, the mighty FC. COYH. Int Whiting a legend? How great is shaul. Wow
