As for Salford this Friday step up Jason Crookes (and grab your chance with both hands) and Shaul still in at FB. For me Shaul has taken his chance in the absence of McDonnell and should be in the squad for Wembley, his pace and support play give us an extra dimension.
Unfortunately Horne misses out for me as Holdsworth & Miller have started to gell as a partnership in the last few games and Shaul has shone in the FB role.
So a winger in for a winger with Crookes a straight swap for Lineham, no messing or moving players around.'"
Good post. Agree with most of that and would have agreed with all of it if we weren't playing Wigan at Wembley. My concern being that tactically, Crookes vs. Richards, in respect of the attacking cross field kick, is the RL equivalent of putting Dot from Eastenders in the ring with Mike Tyson. A complete mismatch that I think would cost us dear. So for that reason alone, I would stick Whiting on the wing for the next two and then bring Crookes in to finish the season (unless we play Wigan again of course).
