Every week we hear 'the effort's there'. Where is the leader on the pitch to shout orders and give direction.

Not really...Wigan got Maguire and Wane..both no2s but they inheretid a damn better team and youth set up to ours...The game is litterd with failed no2s and head coaches and we have had our share...just think the time is right now for a proven coach.

As in a shiit?

The frustrating thing is that we compete in every single game. With the exception of Catalans we have gone through the 60 minute mark of every single game either winning or looking capable of winning, yet we have zero creativity or game sense. Yes our defence is rock solid, I'm more than happy with aspect, and it means that regardless of what some people say, Warrington won't blow us away next week. But we won't win any big games until we learn to build pressure on teams and break them down.

I'll tell you exactly what will happen next week. We will score first, after 50 minutes it will be something like 12-10 to Hull, then Warrington score, probably from a kick, we panic because we have gone behind and don't know what to do. Passes get pushed, Warrington turn it on for 10 minutes and the final score is 30-18. You can set your watch by it.

The odd thing is, at times both last season and this we've seemed to be capable of genuinely impressive play. And then we go back into headless chicken mode.

Beginning to wonder if it's a coincidence that our brainless periods seem to occur whenever Horne is injured...

Not really as that run just paperd over the cracks.

Assistants need to be give a chance to coach first grade , I really had high hopes for Gentle after the rugby served up under Agar's time here but the side & style has not improved even with the additions of some quality players . Gentle time here hangs in the balance ...Then back to the NRL under a proven coach .

But training was spot on yesterday and the effort was there. Still a lot of work to be done though. I really like the guy but he comes out with the same things every week. They have been training since January for Christ sake so what is going on?

Even I'm sick of the effort being there. I predict a much better performance next week but likely come up short. The work that the coach KEEPS ON TALKING ABOUT should be long since done. He seems like a guy who doesn't know where to turn to me.

Sounds like he hasn't got a fooking clue what to do about it.

We were tired, we're working hard in training, blah, blah, fukking blah.
