Consistency and getting back to winning ways.

It seems losing can become more of a habit than winning.

We know we can beat the best sides on the day or at least give them a good run for their money.

Anyhow short and sweet from me, really hurting after that loss but in a way I expected it. We always seems to go about things the hard way.

We really need to go back to basics and Gentle needs to say look lads on the day we play some fantastic rugby but since the Catalans defeat we are going backwards. Get back to the basics, defend well, put pressure on the man with the ball in hand, complete sets and certainly don't force/rush anything.

After the Catalans and Castleford defeat nothing has changed, in fact we have gone backwards which to me says that Gentle is not doing his job properly motivating the players or he's not going with the right game plan/tactics.

So many times this season and in previous seasons have I seen us panic, rush or force it and make a daft error leading to a try etc when we didn't need to do that. If we learnt how to hold on to the ball like the top 4 sides do and know when to strike, know when to put the set play on and when to make that decision we would be almost there.

I know we have a new half back combination and we did lose Holdsworth early in to the second half but the other players have to hold their hands up.

Time and times again we see other teams decimated with injuries but they put up a blooming good fight! I have not seen the fighting spirit of late and it's certainly not the same team that beat Leeds, Wire, Rovers but in reality it is!

Back to the drawing board...

It doesn't get much easier next week!

Still I have faith and will be cheering the lads on no matter what. Just very disappointing.
