For example, if my father chooses my laptop as one of his devices so that he may watch Sky when he stays at my house (which he does fairly regularly), I don't think there's any way Sky can say that the content may only be viewed if my father is present. How would they prove it anyway?

Your father, using his account is a different beast to you, living in another house, using his account to avoid paying for an account for yourself.

How they prove it, and whether they would bother prosecuting is a different matter completely.
