He got really annoyed today because I WOULDN't gloat and just kept saying "We got the 2 points. Leeds next. A proper test."

Just watched the game again, was a lot calmer viewing than yesterday, don't think we were as bad as i first thought, or as bad as some on here have said but in the moment I did think we were poor.
Defensively we were really good, as were rovers, and think it was a fairly even contents (in terms of play)

we created some good chances particularly first half but, it pains me to say it, Horne was at fault for them. that said he has been brilliant this year but yesterday was a bad day and know that he'll make emends, when he can.

I did feel that if we scored 1 try we would get another but the longer the game went on the less likely it looked like happening.

I love this 'cup final' stuff you lot trot out to make yourselves feel better when the reality is generally we face teams who can attack therefore struggle to defend against it. We dont raise our game any more than we did against wire or saints. If you think our chairman is undignified that is your call, I struggle to see how any man could have done more for a club than he has.

I kind of understand how you like to win a magic game like this, I personally didn't want to win last years controversially but then again we had a fair few of these under our belts anyway. No doubts this will only add spice to the other game this year. So enjoy your cup final win, wear your commemorative shirts and celebrate as you would any other game,

we was sat on the side amongst the vast majority of the rovers fans and talking to them during the saints wire game they admitted the only game they want to win are the ones against fc! reaching the 8 is a bonus for them if they make it! they do see us as there big game of the season (cup final) and always seem up for the game more than fc
