| Quote spegs="spegs"After having 1980, Hull's inability to win at Wembley and Rovers Super League derby dominance rammed down my throat constantly, the manner of last years defeat left me feeling as traumatised as any sporting event can. Thus events yesterday could not have panned out any better and this is pure karma as far as I am concerned. Some comments and threads are suggesting that we begrudgingly accept this victory with a combination of humility and embarrassment.
Well guess what my red and white friends, colleagues and family members, the best dairy farmer in the world ain't gonna be able to milk this as much as I will be.

| When Green scored I don't think any FC knew it was technically illegal and it is that wild euphoria that I live for.
3 tries in 4 mins to win a derby in which last year's game I felt physically sick (Hodgson).
I couldn't give 2000 sh*ts what KR fans think or anyone else. We got a VERY LUCKY once in 5 years call. Rovers scored off a pass so forward last year that Stevie Wonder would have seen it.
It happens but only rarely.
At 71.30 mins and Rovers were on our line I may have thought about leaving. To score 3 tries to win a Derby is what it's all about. FC were average today and I do worry about 'freezing' on the big stage but I still have a racing pulse from Green's try.
I LOVE IT and I LOVE it when Sandracock bleets

| Quote Gallanteer="Gallanteer"Don't gloat too much. The entire RL community (apart from you lot) is disgusted at the decision. As for karma, no. It was hodgson that beat you last year, not the forward pass. Whereas this year Ganson gave you the win completely against the rules of the game. You won, yes, but every true rugby fan knows the truth. A penalty to us on half way and a long range conversion and maybe we would have taken it. A draw would have been fair.
Again, you won. It won't be reversed. However beware of gloating (too loudly).'"
Why would the penalty have been on half way?

Surely the penalty is at the point where Green interferes with play, i.e. inside the Rovers 10.

1.Who is the only side from Hull that can boast a Wembley win?
2.Who is the last side from Hull to be Champions?
3.Who won the last all-Hull cup final?
Answers...
1. Hull KR, with a win over Hull FC.
2. Hull KR.
3. Hull KR, a 12-0 win at snow covered Boothferry Park in the 1985 John Player Special Trophy final when three quarters of the ground was Red and White.'"
What years did these events occur?
1. 1980 (like you I'll forget the Plate in 1997 - a competition for losers)
2. 1986
3. 1985
As always, Hull KR fans living in the past. It's all you have got.
Have you worn out your Betamax player yet?

| Just a small point to add; the situation almost certainly wouldnt have happened had Thaler actually put his hand up to indicate it was the last tackle. It took him a couple of seconds after the ball was played to put his hand up so we went into a panic to put some sort of kick in. So an error by an official could have cost us but a further error by a different official helped us. Happens every week in sport.

Agreed Lynch had actually set of for a drive, Thaler didn't raise his hand for the sixth tackle until well after the ball had been played. It all resulted in the ball being thrown back to Holdsworth who had no choice but to just kick it where he stood, it was all a bit of a farce.

| I am sure the FC fans would have enjoyed the win more if they had won it on merit. I expected Hull to get a big score against a side with no first choice wingers or centres and Corey Paterson out.
