What was the attendance for the two days , Personally , I thought it was a good effort considering the current financial climate .

62K for the weekend. Pretty much the same crowd for both days (500 more there on Day2)

i actually think the fact that they weren't all derby matches had an effect on the crowd attendance.

Saints form (until last Monday's win against Leeds) was dire, and their home crowds are down quite a bit on last year. I think that had more of an effect on the lower numbers they took.

I think the lineup of games was about as good as they can get it: the difficult teams to schedule are Warrington, Widnes, Huddersfield and Salford who don't really have derby's to play. Widnes-Warrington is historically a 'derby' but Widnes haven't consistently been at Warrington's level for decades.
