| Quote Standee="Standee"I'd suggest some people have way more knowledge of RL than you.
The "your'e wrong, because I'm right" argument is about 50 years out of date.
Yeaman is a good centre, he'll never be a 2nd row, and I doubt he'll ever want to be, it doesn't suit his persona.'"
Did I say I was right. My opinion, get over it. I just said size doesn't matter to be a second row. People have said he hasn't the size and work rate which is nonsense or do you agree with that? Personally i think it's nonsense.

| Spot on Carl Spackler on all counts. The plan to put Yeaman in the pack was under McRea; it was said that he had concentration lapses; and it was Eager's injury that put paid to it. Better memory than me mate.
I still think Yeaman could do a job in the 2nd row, but with Ellis, Whiting, Westerman, Kent Hadlee and all the props who are comfortable in the back row, would we ned to move him? And that's if Tickle actually goes this time.
Another thought, if we are moving anyone from backs to forwards, what about Jason Crookes?

| Yeaman would get ran over in the forwards, his tackling is based on power and how hard he hits. Against bigger forwards he wouldn't have that advantage.

Cannot agree with this. Yeaman has smashed forwards plenty of times and hit backs in ways they've never been hit by forward or back. Also I'd imagine if he was to play 2nd he'd pack a few pounds on himself.

Not sure he needs more muscle, the centres that have successfully moved inside have typically been the taller type. I'm not saying he [icouldn't[/i play 2nd row, I just don't think his size and body shape would let him compete in the forwards on a consistent basis.
What everyone seems to be missing is why would we move him? He's an international centre and we have Ellis, Westerman, Whiting, Kent & Hadley for the back row, with even Bowden, Green & Pitts to play 13 if that's how we want to go. I'd rather we signed a proven 2nd rower.

| Think this thread is a bit irrelevant as even if Tickle does go, we will have plenty of cover in back row as previous posters have pointed out. If Miller is signed up then just need to sign up Shaul and then concentrate our efforts and cap space in signing a big nasty Peaa type prop then job done, world domination here we come!!

Grix he totally annihilated.
Howell for London bout 2yrs ago had to leave the field
Gleeson when at wire away left him on the ground nearly in half
Think it was Karl Pryce last game before union move, yeaman smashed him a couple of times, put him in touch,an ran all over him. Destroyed him all night.
Others throughout his career. Physicality isn't what he'd lack at 2nd row

You are saying some silly things today.
If you have never seen Yeaman put someone on their backside from a bit hit, you haven't seen many hull games.
How do you want him evidence it? Watch ever hull game and provide you with a link to the exact moment it happen.
You really need to think before you post.
