no, you are quite right.

Briscoe's agent told him to hold out for more money, he was given a final offer and dithered, so we signed someone else. Brough was a total pr1ck (and has admitted as much)

just some people with limited intelligence seem to struggle with reality, yes Brough has gone on to be a good player, but he would never have achieved that at Hull.

I maybe wrong but I was lead to believe that Sharp wasn't given the extra few grand to seal the deal with Briscoe. Re Brough it wasn't Sharp that got rid it was the chairperson who gave the order. That was the straw that broke the camels back and Sharp left as he couldnt do the job he wanted to.

1) my point is Sharp has played his part in our current problems.
2) I agree Briscoe held out for more money. As clearly our offer probably reflected Sharps opinion that he wouldn't be first choice FB. Briscoe was correct and has continued being first choice FB at every club he's been 2. We have only just replaced him in SMc. My opinion error.
3) Sharp couldn't coach Brough who left us to become an international HB. We still haven't replaced him to this day. Only my opinion but this also looks like another error.

But thank god Sharp hasn't been back to the KC. Hopefully things might get better one day.
