horne - never first choice trys hard but not creative enough. kicking game poor
nicklaus - injured/out of favour/not good enough
heremaia - not a half back (see also whiting and westerman)
no halfbacks means no improvements unless we bring someone in or promote from the junior ranks. what can we do? this is a job for mcrae to earn his pay. if we do nothing we are not going to win games
