His appearance record certainly wasn't as bad as i'd first thought, but 14, 15, 20 & 14 apps in 2008/9/10/11 isn't great at all.

Watching Thurston against Melbourne at the weekend made me incredibly jealous. Everyone knows about his awesome skill in attack but it was great to watch his desire and will to win, he was single handedly trying to haul the rest of his team mates up to somewhere near his level and his efforts in defence were unreal.

What I'd give to see a half dominate a game and organise the way him or Cronk does in our shirt.

The way the pattern goes, we're due an injury prone number 7 next year, so Eastmond would fit the bill!

A fit Eastmond would be the perfect player for us, it would be a risk, but if he is available I wouldn't think twice. However he looks like he is doing well in RU at the moment so there is very little chance of us signing him.

Lee Gaskell is not getting a game at Saints, i'd be tempted to have a look at him, maybe on loan initially.

I can not see us loaning a half back when we have Holdsworth, Horney and Azza all able to play.
