I never understood why we took it off lynch yeah Ellis is a class player but lynch led from the front last year an just doesn't look the same now!

Wish you would all quit giving Gentle a hard time. He's almost making Sandercock out to be just less then average which is just above last weeks dismal.

Mistake IMO. Shouldn't have taken it off Lynch. Houghton has been no better than average this season.

I didn't see any need to change, but it's difficult to come to a firm judgement without knowing the reasons why.

The change of captaincy was purely a commercial one. Ellis has a much higher profile than Lynch and the club probably thought they wouldn't be losing out on the field, which is fair enough.
Lynch isn't as vocal this year as he was last season, which is a worry. He can have a bad patch, that's fair enough, I just hope he hasn't taken his bat and ball home in the leadership aspect. We need him.

Your spot on about Ellis and the captaincy. What we don't know is how Lynch feels about it all. He has been quiet this season and I just hope that's form and not him being at odds with club.
