| Quote Hutchie="Hutchie"Leeds have been probably the top club in the country consitantly for the last 10 years, what is it, 7 grand finals whic leads to World Club Challenges and 4 or 5 cup finals? Thats one hell of a reason for players to stay.
They have lost playes in the past, Morley, Newton, Chev Walker, Calderwood ?
Luke Burgess ans Gaz Ellis to the NRL of more recent times'"
Ellis and Morley are the ones I thought of, the others are hardly gonna hurt your club tbh.
Guess the difference is they don't have a reliance on one or two top players like we do. If we had more quality it would be less of a blow. The bright spot is Lineham, genuinely think he could be a star.

class act IMO too, also think Green could be a world class forward too, I have watched this kid progress and he has it all, speed, great hands, size and agression and tons of skill to boot.. .. think we may be coming into a period of home grown talent on show again

Agree and they have a production line to replace them, ie Ward to take over from Sinfield
Theyve also had the luxury of being able to release players who are/have gone onto be SL standard - Fox, Gale, Murell, Netherton, Carvell, Raynor, the list goes on, plus the likes of Diskin, Lee Smith, Scuton
Will be a big test for them in the next 2/3 years as they have to replace Peacock, Sinfield, McGuire and Burrow.

Not to mention Saints losing Jammer to the NRL.

| doesn't some of wonderboy Tomkins' wage not count on the salary cap? Sure I read that somewhere.
Should be allowed for homegrown talent at all clubs imho, if it is true.
Alternatively, we could employ Briscoe's girlfriend as a receptionist for about £100k p/a

It already is.
AFAIK, money is not the issue with Briscoe anyway.

They need to sign to replace Peacock and Kylie. Ward is being lined up to replace one of other three as is Briscoe I think.
