That could very well be the case, Seb, and I don't think the Bradford game is a given either. We need to show more in attack against Saints & Wire (even if we don't win) to get any kind of momentum into the season.

leeds, saints and wire are games we could easily lose if we were on top form so probably better that we have these whilst we're "gelling". Performance is more important than result in these games. We need tpo win the bradford one

I think we're good enough in defence, as long as we're not constantly put on the back foot by an inept attacking display.
Watched it back this morning, Houghton was terrible, we need to start with Heremaia.

Sounds harsh but nearly everything that was bad from hull in attack was down to Houghton. Hardly ran the ball. When he did it was like slow motion and his passing left everyone especially the halves on a hiding to nothing with Leeds's rush defence

I said Houghton's passing off the floor is painfully slow against that lot from across the river and a bloke turned around and glared at me as if I'd licked the back of his neck. Well. It got worse on Friday: His misdirected passes, poor options, lack of scoots (his strength) and him taking an age with his passing off the floor made for a poor showing. Worked his nuts off in defence.
