I listened to last weeks (24/01/13) Radio Manchester - Rugby League Extra. The Wigan Owner Ian Lenagan stated that over the last 18 months Gareth Hock has needed persuading to stay at Wigan. He said some time ago Hock insisted he wanted to leave Wigan and was adamant he was going to Hull FC. It seems there was some of truth in the Hock to Hull rumour of about 12 months ago.

I doubt very much we'd ever get Hock now even if we wanted him. Didn't Lenagan say himself that they wouldn't let him go to any of the top end teams that would be challenging Wigan, which hopefully we will be.
