If you were running a club, would it not be wise to at least keep up to date with the opinion/s of your fans...for what ever reason? I'd say YES. Therefore, this forum is the likely destination.

Of course he's going to go with Seymour and Holdsworth, Horne will only get a look in when we pick up injuries. He's still a decent back up player just not someone you want to run with for the full season as first choice, and he isn't anymore thank God!

If Seymours knee injury is a bad as people are saying I doubt we'll see much of him next season

If it was that bad the club would be rushing out to sign a scrum half, any scrum half, but they tell us there is no need to panic buy.

I think it was Gentle who said it was just a "clean out" and nothing more sinister than that. But you know there are people on here who like to make mountains out of molehills

If it was just a clean out, he would surely have had it during the season instead of going all season with it. The club are hardly going to come out and say his knee injury is chronic but we've still got him for 2 more years. When he leaves in 2 years time that's when we will be told

As earlier in the thread and on the Fans Forum, Gentle made it clear that the clean out had not been done at the end of the season as Seymour had to go back to Oz for some important family issues, a clean out then would have meant he couldn't fly for two weeks. During the season we were short on bodies so we understandably kept him jabbed up to keep him on the pitch. Nothing sinister was PG's comment.

Don't forget Lynch played the whole season with a broken bone in his wrist, and other players played on carrying injuries....not ideal but nothing new.

That said time will tell with Seymour, but I've only ever read on here that he has a chronic knee injury, never had a medical etc. Probably just a case that he would not have been a target for PG if he had been the coach at the time he was signed.
