As a fellow south banker I too come from an area not exactly a hotbed of rugby league.

Don't do it! Run! Run as fast and as far as you can, supporting Hull Fc will eat into your soul, turn you into a manic depressive within a year, you will lose everything you ever valued and owned. You will find yourself waking up in the middle of the night, shouting " Ger em onside" or looking for your season pass that you've dreamed you've lost. Every article of clothing, every snippet of that "Other" colour will be expunged from your wardrobe and household.
Your kids/cat/dog or 'Goldie' fish will be named after players, present or past.
And to top it off, you'll be posting crap on the rumours thread within days.
