We had a visa sorted for Miller, but with him winning toyota cup half back of the year, ht now looks like he will be staying in the NRL.

You would assume that one legacy of the Chase "pursuit" would be that Hull are now pretty clued up on the visa/work permit process/regulations!  |

Just checking how things stand with Tickle since there have been a few posts on our TIW Board that suggest his move to us might still be on? I had assumed that that would need a replacement forward to be signed by yourselves, which didn't seem likely, but maybe I am wrong. |

Adam Pearson said he isnt going anywhere as for replacement forward...you mean apart from Ellis nd Galea...we are also still talking to Aspinwall and have westerman who can play 2nd row...Whiting,Pitts,Kent...so thats 7 who can play there to a high standard....will cost you in excess of £100,000 though. |

Unopposed had stated previously that despite Mr Pearson's confirmation that he was staying for 2013, Tickle might be allowed to go, but the implication was that there would be a "new" forward signing who couldn't be announced until November. I realise that you have other players who can play 2nd row, but I suspect this would have to be a further addition. Such a singing wouldn't seem to fit in with AP's recent confirmation that there were 2 new signings to come, one believed to be McDonnell the other being a halfback from the NRL.
If the price is £100k I doubt we would be prepared to go that high for a player with only 12 months left on his contract, as good a player as he is. |

The other forward was Bateman mate. Its been on, off, on, off all year. It was very very much on, and Bradford upped their offer and he chose to stay there (which was always his preferred choice)
I don't see us signing another forward now, as Pearson has said 2 more to come, but I think another young back may sign on top of those as well, ,aking it 3 more left to come in.
Tickle won't be leaving now.
