Ellis, Mcgoldrick, Watts , Pitts, Crookes, Arundel , Johnson , Holdsworth and Galea were all not here at the start of the 2012 season but will be for the 2013 season. They are all good recruits and whilst some of them may not be stars yet they have the potential to be in the future. If you think of all the youngsters who have gained first team experience this season and will be squad members next season you can't deny the fact that AP and PG are improving this squad as promised. Just be patient and get behind the team, do our part in showing the worlds best this is the club to play for.'"
These type of signings wont happen for a very long time again in SL, due to the salary cap in the NRL and the exchange rate.
It's the first time in years that I cant remember a SL club making a big name signing for the NRL. |

Are you his mum? Do you regard typing the word IDIOT in BLOCK CAPITALS as personal abuse....lol? Read the post, it is full of conjecture and supposition. In the Agar and Hetherington tenure Hull FC were the only club in 2011 not to blood an academy player. This year we have Lineham, Bowden, Crooks, Green et al and the OP (is that forum speak for geek) attempts to create debate by making an ill informed comment about the clubs policy in bringing youngsters through because we signing proven quality players. (I am now going add an emoticon because it is trendy and hard)

To say besides ellis and holdsworth is just stupid as they are the 2 biggest signings so far for 2013 by any team imo , im very happy with the capture of paul johnson , i'll be happy with mcdonnell once its anounced , crooks and arundle tbf are prospects in which only time will tell , with watts, houghton, westerman, lineham , bowden, pitts and ben crookes we have younge players that will get beter and beter every season they play . I can see we still need need a play maker with a kicking game but adam pearson has not let any of us down imo |
