Couldn't the fixtures could be arranged such that we are at home on a Friday when the tiggers are playing away? Next, he'll be trying to move Hull Fair to the football closed season! I always thought the pitch looked worse at the end of the football season than it did at the beginning. Would that would mean the tiggers would have to pay £2k a time to change them back? The SMC should either be run by an organisation independent of either club or have equal input from both clubs.

I heard Cooper walked out/brought his retirement forward due to an agruement with Allam who wouldn't accept his view that the football damage the pitch more than the rugby. He also wanted Cooper to tell FC they couldn't play on a Friday night and he refused.
