Not that i am saying he is the answer however his form dropped as his injury kicked in and i am told he has played jabbed up for the best part of the season due to our injury position, given that info and his play off efforts maybe were judging him harshly!!
Also having lived in oz for some time I can imagine how hard it must be for a lad used to living the dream , from a fairly wealthy family in weather to die for can come to Hull and suffer certainly detatchment depression based on a total and utter change of lifestyle not just life!! does anyone know if his wife is here with him or did he come alone to the UK?
It took me nearly 6 months to adjust to Oz completely and even longer Oman so i have some sympathy because in reality whilst he is no Peter Sterling neither were a few of the other big hitters in SL on their first seasons return after moving to the UK.
Everyone is different and handle things differently , i am sure given his pending operation and a year under his belt he will come back much stronger and more aclimatised next year if still at FC

Not sure what other cover you have at hooker, but you could do a lot worse that play Heremaia at 7 to Holdsworth at 6. Seymour may come good, but if "Unopposed" is right about him leaving and his injury is a problem in him finding a new club then maybe Hull are just prepared to reach a settlement with him and pay him off.

That would certainly enable you to bring in a less experienced half-back if you dont land Chase.

Doubt Seymour would pass a medical anywhere. He has played with a knee injury from day one, that cannot be fixed. A real shame that he's not been able to show what he is capable of

exactly as I hear too, hence i guess his kicking isnt as strong as i recall it from his time in the NRL
