Chase would be superb but I'm at the point now where I really dont care whether he comes or not. My only worry would be that our 'fall out' halfback aint that good, hence why were going hell for leather for Chase. Pearson has stressed that he only wants to bring in players who want to play for the club, so if Chase is messing us around, I'm unsure as to why were still pursuing him.

Nothing official yet, but strong rumours for a long time both on the Wigan site and our own, big hints in the local press etc. Even his Dad being quoted as saying he had signed by one poster, but we know what can happen to these "nailed on" signings. So I suppose that until either Wigan or ourselves make a formal announcement its still a rumour!
