Seems to be our main signings/targets are all blowing up in our face, and we are rushing to re-sign players we wanted out or trying to bring in people what are lesser quality players then the guys what where already apparently signed.

I trust in AP,PG and SM but getting a bit concerned that this may end up been just a slight improvement on what we have had in the past. Even if Ogre resigns we still need another quality prop as I wouldnt want to go into the new season with Watts,Lynch and Ogre with some youngsters. Our two big bruisers in Manu and Moa are gone and havent been replaced what to me is a major concern.

I tend to agree, if Hull wanted Omeley for 2013 surely they would of tied him up months ago?!

But let's wait and see b4 jumping to conclusions cos we may have a big angry of a prop waiting to be announced that we don't yet know about.

AP has said that we have got 6 quality signings and he said that a couple of months ago, now the only question is do we think they are quality signings.

Like others have said, Goldie, Aspy, Martin all came in and we hit the roof (well most did) and look how they turned out.

I will trust the signings we have made once we find out who they arer and trust PG to turn our team in a better team for next season.

I suspect any who complain will be eating humble pie like this year.

They didnt want to resign ogre for starters and now they are (Paea was our target what we failed to get)then there is problems with the chase issue and looks like they will have to fallback on another target.
Now Mcdonnal Bateman and Taylor also look in major doubt. Also the Galea signing seems he is a stop gap because we missed out on somebody else.

Like I said im just a tad concerned but I also know we have more signings to be unveiled.

Goldie.Aspy and Martin are not the type of players what will be winning you a Grand Final ring though. I know we cannot be having a team of superstars but we need better quality to go for the big one.

No he was a disruptive influence earlier in the season as was his missus, that was partly down to the physio / conditioner mis-diagnosing his injury and providing wrong treatment (along those lines anyway) which kept him on the injury bench much longer than planned, I believe said physio / conditioner has since left the club. Ogre has knuckled down and is playing some of his best rugby in an FC shirt, and has played his way back into contention for a contract. Still probably means we missed out on the likes of Bateman.

O'meley is a 1 year deal and will be announced tomorrow
