I thought there's supposed to be an announcement today?! I'm sure I remember Pearson saying that he won't discuss signings made untill the 4th? or something along those lines.

Until [iafter[/i the 4th. Nobody ever said there would definitely be announcements today.

Thats what I thought. But apparently its been misinterpreted... (Ive been like a kid at xmas for last 2 days aswell as I was hoping for an early couple of announcements yesterday as well! Lol)

James smailes says on twitter he expecting the announcements to be drip fed... and after the next round games are over... apparently...

Edit: Just read the article on the Hull website and nowhere does it say 'after the 4th'.

I always interpreted what AP said as the 4th being the earliest we [imight[/i hear about signings. Your mileage may differ.

That's also true, but to say 'we won't announce any signings until the 4th' does hint at it actually being the 4th more than not.



Obviously it does. I too thought it wouldn't be the 4th, but only because of other clubs commitments, just seems AP has heavily suggested a date without really thinking. Maybe Gentle has requested we don't announce them just yet, given the de-stabilising effect it had on the team earlier in the year?

I'm actually not bothered, we'll know when we know.
