| As mentioned afore , NRL have just signed a $1 billion dollar deal with Fox(SKY) etc and that is about 635 million pounds ! The Aussie players here are very excited to say the least and therefore the chance of getting ANY DECENT NRL player is really slight.
If I was AP I would be very wary of signing an Aussie from NRL unless of course it is Travis Burns  |

Got this off Bulls website from weds 9pm :
To be fair, I've also heard that Bateman is Hull bound.
I have a mate playing @ Huddersfield, who said them and Warrington were battling it out for his signature, when Hull came in last minute and he signed for them.
Heard this about a month ago, but hoping it wasn't true!
Apparently, on one of the SL shows this week, (SL full time, i think) they mentioned that Gale was on his way to Huddersfield.

Not sure who they all are, its just reassuring to have an owner who genuinely wants to bring back the halcyon days of the late 70`s & early 80`s, roll on September and let the good times roll. |

When AP says " We are strengthening the squad as much as possible between now and the start of pre-season "
This could mean, they will give Chase until then, for UKBA to approve or deny his visa. |

Exciting as long as he's not including Arundel, Crookes, Watts, Pitts and McGoldrick. If it's 4 players I don't yet know about, and Holdsworth as a fifth - I'll be really pleased, but I'm wary of spin. All these players could loosely be included in the statement - which is obviously engineered to shift season passes. |
