A "bad day at the office" is fine, a bad attitude is not, and for me Briscoe was the most obvious symptom of what was behind what everyone agrees was a disgrace - a BAD ATTITUDE. Did Briscoe think he was playing park football? (To call it amateurish would be an insult to amateur players). Not just that he was playing in a strange position, he clearly didn't have his mind on the job. Which as a highly paid professional he should have.
If he thinks he can go to the NRL, well maybe he can but if he ever plays like that he'll probably be watching it like us while playing in the NSW Cup (or whatever it's called) for the next 3 months.
