You know this already BL. Stats are not everything. How many times have those 'assists' been to another support player along side of him? Warrington push players through in numbers and when on song there's usually 3 or 4 of them following the break. Myler does not make the space, he has it made for him by the likes of Briers, Hodgson, Monaghan etc.
My main gripe with Myler is that he cannot dictate a game. The likes of Briers, Dobson et al can. |

Tbh I have not seen enough of Myler to make a solid judgement on him, however I think it is harsh to say he is simply a support player when he has managed 16 try assists, from the few times I have seen him he appears a decent enough player not sure I would want him in our team though. |

I agree with Locko's Luck, you can't just look at stats as they don't tell the full story. Ratchford's try the other week for example; the way the stats are recorded Myler will have an assist for that, but Briers put Ratchford through the gap, Ratchford made the line break, so the sum total of Myler's input was to back Ratchford up and play a one two to get round the fullback and recovering defence. How many times has he done that with Ratchford, Atkins, Riley, etc.? |

Its wrong, he is 31 (according to Wikpedia and HullfC.com) typical mail getting it wrong, Blake Green had a different age on successive days this week. He will be 32 in May next year.
He injury record hasn't been great for us so I would pass on resigning him. |
