How Webb didn't get sent off was an absolute joke. I don't think I can ever recall him making a one on one tackle below the neck but tonight's was a shocker. Silverwood completely bottled it. At least Wilkes could say Burrow had ducked slightly and he's a short bloke to start off with but Webb jumped in the air to elbow someone half a foot taller than him.
Nothing wrong with Wilkes' tackle. I'm fed up of seeing so-called "high" tackles on the midget. He ducks most of the time so how you're supposed to hit him when you're 4 foot taller is a mystery. If Wilkes had hit a normal sized player there'd have been nothing wrong with it.
Webb's, however, was a foul, with intent. He's a coward when running the ball out too. Too quick to hit the floor and often throws it out rather than face a tackle.
