Quote: Mild mannered Janitor "Can't have a team full of super stars. I am indifferent about Sharp staying or going. Vastly improved from last season, but many chose to give him stick after just a couple of games, a little like Calderwood.
Only once seen him in open space (at Wire last year). He has the pace, we just don't have the halves or centres to create space for him. not once have I seen Hull try and utilise his pace with a kick over the top from a scrum (remember Motu Tonys try against Bradford in the play offs?).
Good luck to him where ever he ends up, can't fault the lads effort and irresepective of skill and quality if your given a shirt you can ask no more than putting in 100%, which Sharp has done.'"
He's been caught plenty of times in situations where a fast winger would have been away. Other than effort, sharp has none of the attributes needed to be a top class winger
