Quote: FC Guvnor "The only problem I have with charging punters to come in is that it discriminates against regular punters, when we're in Hull, we often go in for something to eat at New Clarance and usually on a Saturday, obviously we're Hull fans but to be told we would have to pay £4 to get in when we go in most Saturdays is poor imo. For me having the game on is sure to bring in more custom and get the tills ticking over, the need to try to rake in more is a bit of a scam, if you can give £1 to charity why not give the full £5 to charity, say dove house hospice, give the mail a ring, get a piece in the local rag and everyone wins.'"
Wouldn't they have to put on more bar and door staff?
Isn't the fact they're selling tickets partly to do with them been able to prepare for numbers and to tell everyone without a ticket not to bother queuing/turning up?
And i don't see how it discriminates, everyone can pay to get in.
