It’s a fine mix imo. Developing youngsters must be of paramount importance for any club. However, the quality is not there for there to be no overseas players at all. The overall quality of RL in this country would simply decrease without a mix of our Australasian friends.

I feel for the Bulls players in this and expect the RFL to be flexible with some of the rules in an effort to ensure as many Bradford players as possible find another club should the situation get that bad. Allowing any Bulls players to be exempt from the cap or the quota for the duration of the deal they have in place with the Bulls surely isn’t too much to expect?

There's been quite a lot of discussion about that statement (it's in the thread about Pearson's interview), mainly about whether or not Ellis and Arundel and included in the 6. The general consensus on here is that they're probably separate to the 6.

I'm not one for posting to a rumours thread but I do enjoy reading the comments, however, having said that I was talking to someone linked to a top amature team who has connections at Hull who told me last night that Hull had secured a deal with a Cas player whos been linked to Hull in the past. Its a done deal apparently and will be announced as soon as. Both clubs and the player are happy according to my source. I just thought I'd share it with you all. I cant really say if I believe it to be true as its just a rumour at this time and probably will remain one.

I'd be happy if we signed Owen to play on the wing. I think he's much better there than at fullback.

Owen signed a contract extension at the start of the year, though.
