Just remind me how the current SOO and Aus International Shaun Berrigan did for you guys, then take a look at what Dobson has done for Catalan, Wigan and HKR, now you tell me about how some of these unknown Aussie journeymen go in SL. There again just remeind me of the competion we are playing in?

i know what your saying but signing young british talent is what every club needs to do. that statement what ap says does not say were going to sign the best player in the world in every position be realistic please. you know what he means. the likes of ellis is a great buy i expect 1 or 2 more big names to come and with the others rumoured i think we will have a good squad next year to take us to the next level

Dont know how they will go but Pitts has looked good and the other 2 will have to wait and see wont we but our recruitment isnt over as more to come in.As for the big boys...who have they signed..Wigan are losing 4,warrington arent as good when players out..Leeds creaking and a average Sts team..Hudds lost a pivotial player and coach...Catalans will be main contenders next season...oh yes...hardly any signings been made by them to wet their fans appetites has there.

Good to see Pumpkin back down to his usual low standards. For a while there his position as Most Pathetic And Obvious Rovers Troll Ever was under serious threat.

The problem is that whatever pearson does, we still have the 2 limiting factors of salary cap and players actually available. If we can address a few small fundamental weaknesses then we can significantly improve. A half back with a kicking game who doesn't spend most of the season injured would be a start. A couple of decent props and good full back who doesn't feck off 1/3 of the way into the season and I think we'll be firmly in the group of teams behind wigan. Looks like plenty of teams will likely be weaker next season anyway
