Second best team in the compettion who KR BEAT, both teams are lacking players with injuries O Carroll has been let go by the club, another loss can see FC and KR fighting in out again for 7th and 8th simple..... |

To start with, the better team won, but the outcome hinged on 2 reffing decisions.
1/ Whiting's disallowed try when it was 24-18. Judging by the travelling fans reaction and especially Whitings, it was a try.
2/ The sin-binning ( team were already on a warning) led to us scoring 12 points and effectively game over. Until that point, it was a good even hard-fought game. Wire were flattered by the score-line.
The downside for Hull were lack of size/action in the pack, and the number of stupid penalties you gave away.
On the plus-side was the performance of the fb. Not seen him before, was very impressed and imo Hull mom. And the numbers of travelling support which easily beat KR's pathetic turnout earlier in the season....

No, he's been injured, had two operations and has just come back. Unfortunately it coincided with the Nines competition. Wouldn't be surprised if he plays at Salford next Friday. |
