its no secret hes always wanted to be closer to there for his kids but can't see hull letting him go for nowt with a year left on his contract . At least a fee or maybe a swap , Russell ? ( wishful thinking )

Maybe Russell is Hull bound anyway, maybe Wigan called him back in order to force Hull on the deal. Would not be happy though if Tickle goes as part of the deal. Expect him to go but this is a year early for me. This scenario (most of which is in my head by the way!) seams very feasible to me.

Seems as though we're losing far too much quality from our ranks next season and for what reason?

Moa, O'Meley, Turner, Manu, Tickle possibly next season or the season after. Can't see how we're going to be able to replace all of them with equal or better additions.

I wouldn't worry just yet.

Ellis in for Manu and Arundel for Turner shows it can be done.

The props are the biggest worry but the standard of overseas props will drop throughout the league.

Ellis is an improvement but one we expected to play with not replace. Arundel has potential but isn't an improvement on Turner just yet. Moa and Tickle are going to be really hard to replace and aren't looking forward to losing these two if the rumours are to be believed.

Not from this season, but only one of them has been called into the England squad.

I doubt the club would let Tickle go without a replacement.
