If Russell's loan spell helps him develop in the same way Charnley's at Hull KR did then we'll be very happy.

Charnley is turning in to a stunning player.

Awesome player, watched the bit on him with Billy Boston before the game on Friday and he had nice words about Hull KR. Boston found it particularly funny that Wigan had called him back for the playoff fixture in which he then went on to score in.

He is, if he carries on I suspect he may take Briscoes spot on the wing

I think Horney better watch himself after Russells performance on Saturday. His first game for Hull and he was brilliant, he was very confident and with more training and games played he could become a great full back for Hull.

No disrespect to Horne but seriously I would rather have a youngster coached by Gentle and training with some experienced players than Horne who is injury prone and really not as good as he used to be.

I heard Gentle praising Russell and how good he thought he was after only 4 days of training with the team. Not bad for an 18 year old.

I hope Crooks gets kept in the team as well, he had a stormer and I bet his Dad was so proud of him.
