Big hits with the wrong technique will always be a part of a collision sport, we have laws in place regarding tackles to try and minimize the use of bad technique and damage ([ithe rfl try to impose these laws[/i)

Watched the match again when I got in last night about midnight. Pretty certain Scablett had a second go a Willie's face later on. Was much the worse for wear, though so could be wrong. Going to watch it again in a minute so will double check.

You are right about Sky Bet Lynch they did not give it enough air time i remember a couple of years back whem Mason from the Giants stood on Feilden from Wigan, Carney Clarke and Hemmings went Ape about it theyn showed the clip over and over then nailed Mason to the mast they showed that last night once then never mentioned it again,and IMO last nights incident was far worse than the Mason Feilden one.

Ablett proved beyond doubt last night that he is lower than a snakes nipple end. The guy has very limited actual rugby ability, and purely gets by on a rugby field by bullying people.

Last night he undoubtedly committed a blatant attempt at an eye gouge, no if's or but's about it, yet Eddie Hemmings described it as a "slap to the face". I wonder if he'd have been so sensitive with his description had it been a Hull player carrying out a similar offense?
