after reading he had been offered a 3 year contract, i'm leaning towards the he's signed but with everyday passing the doubt grows.

I think the 3 year offer has tipped the scales, and expect a positive announcement before the Wigan game. Personally I think 3 years is too long, could be past his sell by date by year 3 and we'll be stuck paying him a huge wedge of our salary cap.

If he leaves then it'll be a blow as he will strengthen another team, but we will still have Ellis, Tickle, Westerman and Whiting as our first choice back row, with Kent coming through and looking good. His money will be able to be spend on other areas of the squad, such as prop.

If he stays then we have a quality backrow. Ellis, Tickle, Westerman, Manu.
