young kids miss some easy tackles in SL when they first step up. Will take him a good year to really just get use to playing 1st team.
He needs to be in the 1st team now more than the 20s its the only way he will improve now.
will just be better when we have more players back to help him out.
Young players will make mistakes especially halfbacks and especially when he is playing in a side missing experienced players. He needs to be coming off the bench like he was early in the season but needs must. This experience of starting for 4/5 games will be great for his development.
Quote: kt170496 "Posters go on about bringing the youngsters in But today proved there are not ready for S/L .You can bring in one at a time and the team can carry that one but to many and the team loses that balance .To have a go at J Ellis is wrong the lad is still learning his trade ,he has been force into the first team because of injuries .Huddersfield are top of S/L who could rotate players last Monday they rested players I wish Hull could have done that I judge Hull on a full squad not a patch up team'"
Not showing enough with ball in hand for me but the long kicking game is excellent so very similar to Brough when he first came here and if Ellis can improve half as much as him we will have a good player.
Young or not that missed kick to touch was absolutely unforgiveable, why kick it to the further of the two touchlines in the first place and even worse go for more distance than previous? Okay Alibert should have let Danny take the quick tap but the missed tackles just added to a pretty average performance from him.
