Who cares what a spent force like Cooke thinks - just some bitter old head like Schofield is on twitter now.

When your talking about Radford, your not talking about a player who was a 'never was' you're talking about a former international player who probably had a season left in him but retired to take an opportunity that wouldn't have been available at the end of this season.

Good job the Doncaster management didn't take the same approach to blooding youngsters instead of taking someone out of retirement - Radford played more recently than Cooke did.

It's just the audacity from a now-self-proclaimed 'neutral' that got me.

Why? cooke's knowledge of the game is summarised in one action which saw his career go down the pan. If he were half as knowledgeable as he believes he is he'd probably still be playing for Hull and would be significantly better off that he is now.

My only hope is that these marathons he's running see him disappear for a few months afterwards

Doc's one of the few still willing to try and defend him over the way he left the club as well. Keeps going on about not all the facts being known.

Well, firstly - welcome to last week. Secondly - he said it to get a bite, which he got at the time.
Lastly, his idea of bringing a back in and pushing Turner into the back row allowing tickle to play prop wasn't really that stupid, was it?
As for doc, nobody does know the full facts, do they? I don't trust Cookies word, but I don't trust the other sides either.

Did he? Or is he just using the tried and tested excuse of folk on the internet who make knobs of themselves?

I don't trust anyone's word. The publicly available facts are enough to demonstrate what a knob Cooke is.

Myself and a few others on here were tweeting with Cookie about this. When I asked him who else he would play instead of Radford, he said 'Crooks, Cunningham or Nicklas'. I don't believe any of them can play prop. Shows what he knows.
