2 big issues with our attendances. Firstly, we don't have the flexibility to do offers to tempt in new punters. Secondly we (and rovers) get the least away supporters out of anyone (probably including cats and london). I reckon that the close proximity of wire, widnes, salford, wigan and saints, plus hudds, bradford, cas, wakey and leeds, probably adds between 1000-2000 to their average gate each year at least

No, but lack of crowds normally equals no success. Unless you have a multi-millionaire willing to pump unlimited amounts of cash in for an indefinite period of time, that is.

AP has already indicated that we need bigger crowds to ensure that we can begin to compete and hopefully win stuff. I choose not to disbelieve him.

We certainly will. Plus a good following of away fans who create an atmosphere. With approx 300 Salford fans at the Pharm yesterday it was pants. Both Hull clubs always bring a large following, ala Leeds and Wire. Other big clubs, Saints, Wigan, Bradford etc don't bother coming now that they don't pick up the 2 easy points that was a foregone conclusion in years gone by.
