Quote: Irregular Hoops "After quite a few years of being ground down by the previous regime, it's been great this year to actually be looking forward to going to games.
You can tell that their is a real honesty & intgrity about the club now, from AP downwards.
We finally have someone at the helm who has the ambition that matches the supporters.
I can sense the pride in the fans returning, as we begin to feel part of the club again. This year has been a bonus for me, as I didn't expect too much until year 2 (if we were lucky), or year 3 (realistically).
I'm sure we'll still have some bad games (including the odd derby defeat), but the way the club is heading (on & off the pitch) leaves me with nothing more than enthusiasm for the club again.'"

What he said!

A crow was sitting on a tree, doing nothing all day. A small rabbit saw the crow, and asked him, "Can I also sit like you and do nothing all day long?" The crow answered: "Sure, why not." So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the crow, and rested. All of a sudden a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it. Management lesson: To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.:icons3d44_files/4750-863FALH-msnicons.jpg

Feels like we do have our club back and I am really enjoying my rugby again. It has been a tough few years and I really thought about not getting a season ticket this year. Happy I did and looking forward to next weekend…

It does feel like we have our club back, so to speak. I've actually been looking forward to games so far this season rather than feeling a mixture of dread and apathy.

We do, however, need the missing fans to return. 11,600 last night is a disappointing attendance given the way we've been playing and the general feel good factor.

I know times are hard but we should be looking at 13,000 for games like last night and nearer 15,000 for the likes of Leeds, Wigan and Saints.

When I took my son to games last year, he was usually moaning 20 minutes from the end as to how boring the game was (usually because we were losing and looking like we couldn't recover)

Now, he likes to stay until the end, even though there are still some dull moments in the game. He is enjoying going to the games, and so am I.

Thank you Mr Pearson. eusa_clap.gif a014.gif

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result:

It's surprising how easy it is to get out of any regular habit and then how difficult it is to get back into it again.

My local boozer closed for over a month after the previous landlord just let it go to the dogs. He was finally kicked out and it took the owner and new licensee about six weks to get it back into shape. It re-opened at the beginning of March and I've been in three times since, I used to go there for a couple of pints virtually every day. It's not that I've transferred my drinking to any other pub, I simply go out less.

I think the KC will see a gradual, as opposed to a dramatic, increase in attendances over this season. Remember we've been sold pups in the past and a couple of months of good performances may still not be enough to bring the crowds flocking back
